Tariff
Adding channels to the tariff plan
The tariff plan defines a set of added channels based on Channel Tags.
Example usage:
‘Channel One’ is adde with ‘public’ and ‘free’ channel tags
The ‘Example 24’ channel is added with ‘free’ and ‘private’ channel tags
If your tariff plan includes only the ‘free’ channel tag - two channels will be available, if only ‘public’ - one channel.
The Channels tariff tab serves only for information and allows to see what channels the tariff includes.
Visual design of tariffs
It is recommended to use a JPEG image with a 16:9 aspect ratio as the tariff logo. This will ensure its correct representation in application and media center paywalls.
For tariffs, in addition to the main logo, it is also possible to upload two advertising banners that will be displayed in the paywalls that the user will navigate to when trying to view content that is not available to them within their existing subscriptions (e.g. promo channels):
The main banner requires a JPEG image with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of at least 1760x1000. This banner will be displayed in paywalls on the web player, Smart TV applications and set-top boxes.
Warning
Note that on the old TVIP set-top box interface, the paywalls for VoD content are not available - if a client attempts to play such content without the required subscription, there will be no response from the interface and the paywall will not be displayed.
The auxiliary banner ad requires a JPEG image with an aspect ratio of 1:1 and a resolution of at least 1500x1500. This ad banner will be displayed in paywalls on mobile applications.
Using rate plans to regulate VoD
Access to VoD libraries is realized through VoD tag and tariff mappings. For more information on how to configure VoD tariff tags, please refer to the related documentation page.
Warning
In case set-top box or app displaying a blank page instead of a paywall for VoD content or if a paywall does not contain links to the tariffs which should provide this VoD content, make sure that the VoD tariff tag associated with the source of this content is linked to at least one tariff.
