Remote control modification with Bluetooth technology
Some TVIP media players are equipped with a remote control that supports both IR and Bluetooth. Such remotes have the designation BT in the lower right corner of the logo. If there is no Bluetooth connection to the media center, the remote control operates in IR mode.
The remote control usually establishes a Bluetooth connection to the media player automatically. If you need to manually bind/reconnect the remote control, do the following:
Go to Settings - System - Bluetooth remote - Setup - Reconnect.
Press and hold the FN and BACK buttons on the remote until the indicator light flashes.
Wait for the message ” Remote control is now connected over Bluetooth “.
Warning
Please note, using the remote with Bluetooth technology is recommended only with media players that support Bluetooth technology. The remote will work with any TVIP media players in IR mode, but button response may be badly and battery life may be reduced.
Voice input
A voice input function has been added to the new remote controls for TVIP S-Box v.705 and v.706. Such remotes have the label B-TV in the lower right corner of the logo.
Voice input is available in all Android applications that support this feature. An API for correct operation of voice input in web application integrators has also been developed.
Supported languages for voice input:
English;
German;
Russian;
Polish.
Note
Recognition is performed using TVIP technologies, ensuring reliable and secure voice input performance regardless of international company policies.
Example of using the voice API is available on github.com.
